Basic Life Support Training for Parents & Schools | Ana Marote Consultancy

Learn basic life support. Save a child’s life.

Most cardiac arrests in children happen at home. The person who finds them is usually a parent. Knowing what to do in the first three minutes is the difference between life and death.

I am an Advanced Paediatric Life Support Instructor, a European Paediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor and a Tracheostomy Basic Life Support Instructor. I teach parents, carers and school staff how to respond when it matters most.

What I offer

Basic Life Support in the Home

A practical session in your home for parents, grandparents and carers. Covers CPR for babies and children, choking, recovery position, and what to do in an allergic emergency. Hands-on. No jargon. You finish knowing you could do it.

Price: £50 per person per session. Group bookings available.

Resus a Teddy School Assembly

A fun, age-appropriate assembly for primary school children. Each child brings a teddy and learns the basics of calling for help, checking for breathing and doing chest compressions. Builds confidence early. Children remember it for years.

Price: From £150 per assembly. Discounts for multiple assemblies in a MAT.

BLS for School Staff

Add a basic life support module to your staff training day. Covers adult and paediatric CPR, choking, AED awareness and anaphylaxis response. Can be combined with allergy and anaphylaxis training.
