I highly recommend Ana! Ana has supported me with my son in the last 2 years who was born at 26 weeks with chronic lung disease. We were in NICU for over 4 months and Ana was ensuring I was asking Dr’s the right questions. It can be very confusing and overwhelming being in hospital for so long and then coming home on oxygen and a feeding tube. Ana has built my confidence up to be able to ask the right questions and assess my son’s condition to make informed decisions for my son – Martina – November 2024.

Ensuring staff are confident to administer EpiPens and asthma inhalers is vital. A large number of children across our school have a diagnosis of asthma and a wide range of allergies and being ready to respond and provide care in line with the DfE Supporting Children with Medical Conditions is part of our statutory duty. Up until Ana came in to deliver training I had been leading this training myself using a PowerPoint from a charity organisation. Ana’s training was a revelation. She delivered two 30 minute back to back sessions to staff and was clearly very knowledgeable and confident. The impact of her training was clear in the questions staff asked and from their feedback about her training. It felt so valuable to hear her experience and I felt confident that as a team we are so much better prepared as a result of being trained by Ana. It was so refreshing to meet Ana who was empathetic to our worries and concerns regarding our son’s possible asthma. After many trips to A and E in an ambulance with low oxygen, to be sent home with no plan or support moving forward was worrying. Ana is knowledgeable and educated myself, who is a 40 year old who had had asthma all my life. The improvement of the health of my child with the reccomendations from Ana were noticeable quickly. I had my annual training. Usually a video on line or part of the first aid training. This time though it was in person with Ana. I can honestly say it was the best training I’ve ever had. I’m anxious about it and worry I won’t remember what to do. She went above and beyond and I am so grateful. I feel so much better about what I would do if a situation arose. Thank you so much Ana.
